c1960s Japanese pottery rabbit with box

I fell in love with this rabbit! Made in Japan probably in the 1960s he is an off-white colour with a shaded peach wash to the inside of his ears and peach & red eyes. The underside of the base is marked with Japanese characters and he has his own "hutch" - a box with a sliding side. The box is also marked with Japanese characters. We have not bought ceramics for some time but I had to make an exception for this fellow!
